Atlético Madrid Secure Signing of Giacomo Raspadori in €26 Million Deal
Atlético Madrid have reached a full agreement with Napoli to sign Italian forward Giacomo Raspadori in a deal worth an initial €22 million, with potential add-ons taking the total package to €26 million.
The 24-year-old attacker has already agreed to personal terms with the La Liga side and was eager to make the move to Madrid, while Napoli were open to sanctioning his departure. Raspadori is set to become Atlético’s latest attacking reinforcement, following the earlier acquisition of French midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery.
Medical tests and final paperwork are now being prepared to complete the transfer, with Raspadori expected to join Diego Simeone’s squad imminently. The versatile forward, capable of playing across the frontline, will add depth and creativity to Atléti’s attack as they prepare for the new season.
